I’m a bit hormonal at the moment, if you know what I mean. I have been looking at my face and despite how hormonal I am, my face isn’t as broken out as it often is when I am this hormonal. I think that is because I am taking some new steps towards prevention as a remedy! I am trying to touch my face as little as possible. When anyone touches their face they transmit the dirt and oil from their hands onto their face, yucky, germy, acne producing dirt and oil. Next I wash my face as much as I can, especially after I eat.
ESPECIALLY after I eat fatty foods! Finally I use acne cream at the slightest little hint that a zit of any kind might be forming. I check my face regularly to see if any zits are trying to set up shop in my pores and I target them immediately. My pores are another area I am trying to do some proactive treatment to. I am using pore de-clogging methods (I’ll talk about that another blog) and making sure that after I do, I use an astringent to close back up the pores that I de-clogged because I read on a website that closing the pores back up after cleaning them out was vital.
